Weather On Demand - WOD - is a data delivery engine developed and optimized by StormGeo for reliable and quick data deliveries of weather information.

Our goal is to provide as easy access to weather data as possible to our customers. With WOD, the only thing you have to provide is a location, either specified by latitude and longitude or by city name. Then, WOD will automatically select data from the latest and most detailed weather model available for your chosen location. If available, any corrections to the forecast made by our meteorologists will also be applied, increasing the quality of the forecast. Data is then delivered in any standard format, like XML, webservices or JSON.

We have created a number of weather sites for our customers using WOD, ranging from highly specialized and tailored services for customers in Offshore and Energy, to public weather sites like http://www.pent.no , http://vader.aftonbladet.se and http://www.storm.no.
