StormGeo is expanding our Customer Service Team (CST) in our APAC offices. Our customers operate in a variety of weather sensitive environments including onshore, offshore, in air and at sea. Maritime knowledge is a strong advantage, but the right mindset with both analytical and decision-making skills are essential for success. As our industry is continuously evolving, the successful candidate should have the drive and desire to learn/embrace new challenges.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide client support via telephone and email;
  • Proactively monitor ship’s reporting quality, weather and performance risks per service offerings;
  • Manage trials and ensure good communications with all parties in accordance to sales objectives;
  • Implement new services and perform customer training upon handover by sales team, and ensure clients unitize our services in accordance with their needs;
  • Manage databases with StormGeo internal systems based on new service and products by our clients;
  • Assure technical questions of internal & external customers are handled promptly and to their utmost satisfaction;
  • Assist management in ad hoc projects;
  • Maintain customer contact to ensure high levels of satisfaction & enlarge StormGeo market share;
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values;
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years prior experience in a CST role provide support for products and services;
  • Experience with Windows based platforms;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on effective communications with customers, team members and management;
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills with an ability to work unsupervised;
  • Monitoring and following the procedures and suggesting implementations in order to raise the quality of the products and services.

  • Prior experience in the Maritime Industry and/or Weather Background
