We are seeking an ambitious and skilled person to take an active role in the core scientific development team based in Stockholm, shaping the work on seakeeping characteristics, vessel performance models and route optimization across all product lines.

What we seek:

  • You are creative and like to share your competence
  • You enjoy working in teams
  • You have good written and oral English skills
  • Naval Architect or Marine Engineer with at least 3 years industry experience of ship hydrodynamics and specifically dynamic stability, or
  • Recently graduated PhD within ship hydrodynamics or dynamic stability
  • Good understanding of dynamic stability
  • Experience of working with time domain simulations
  • Fluent in a programming language for performing time domain simulations, such as MATLAB, Python or similar
  • General programming skills in an object oriented language is an advantage

Preferred work location is our office in central Stockholm, but working from another StormGeo office may also be an option. In such case, please let us know your preferences within the application.
