About the job

As Billing and Credit Control Specialist APAC in StormGeo, you will be accountable for the full A/R duties in APAC. The overall responsibility is to be able to improve A/R processses that will result to targeted DSO. At StormGeo, your role is integrated into the business development to create customer value.

You will report to APAC Accounting Manager, April Cortezano and you will be based in Hongkong.

You will be:

• Accountable for the full A/R duties – include but not limited to invoice preparation, invoice delivery, sending of SOAs, collection and processing of receipts on time
• Ensure payments are made within contract payment terms
• Identify incoming payment and provide the information required by the Accountant for posting
• Apply payments to correct invoices and reconcile the customer’s records monthly
• Prepare A/R Aging Report and Improve DSO
• Take responsibility of the clients’ portfolio and establish a good relationship
• Alert the Management of any potential risk to collections / bad debts ASAP
• Ad hoc project is added if necessary

Who you are

We’re looking for a Billing and Credit Control Specialist APAC who will take ownership and resolve external and internal issues / answer to customer’s queries within reasonable time and take initiative by improving and developing current processes.

As a person, you are someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written), who has the ability to think strategically and analytically with good problem-solving skill, and can work independently and efficiently. We think you are detailed minded, proactive, accurate and well organized.

What do you know?

We believe you have at least 3 years of experience in credit control/collection/billing in an international environment within a matrix organization. You have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, or Business and related disciplines. You have a strong technical skills in MS Excel and have a proficiency in English and Mandarin.

Salary Range:     HKD 25,000/m – HKD 28,000/m
