About the Role
We are seeking a Billing Specialist responsible for ensuring the careful arrangement of client contracts within Salesforce and the prompt issuance of client invoices in strict accordance with contract terms. The Billing Specialist will maintain close, effective communication with our clients, as well as collaborate seamlessly with our sales, client support, and finance teams to ensure the issuance of timely and accurate invoicing.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure existing contract information remains accurate and up-to-date for billing over the contract duration – including initiating change orders, and renewing or canceling existing contracts in the system when requested by the Sales Team for the client and in accordance with the client contract terms
- Maintain correspondence with and good flow of information between relevant members of the sales team, the client support team, the finance team, and clients regarding billing and contract changes
- Complete Vendor Information forms as required by clients
- Provide documentation such as Certificates of Insurance at the client's request
- Make various and consistent updates to client accounts in Salesforce
- Consistently update client conference calls for billing purposes
- Prepare monthly Salesforce reports for accounting, various ad-hoc charges to clients and fees payable to vendors
Core Requirements
- Highly proficient with using different billing systems (basic knowledge within Salesforce), CRM and ERP systems, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF software, Outlook and Teams
- Must have some experience in customer service, and communication within a team environment
- Must have self-discipline, the ability to work on your own and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize the workload in an agile manner
- Capable of communicating in a highly professional manner in both written and verbal formats with clients and all StormGeo teams
- A basic understanding of service contract terms and conditions would be a plus
- Must be positive, professional, and an ambassador for StormGeo
