As Sales Director Americas you will be leading our Americas team providing customized sales solutions to our wide range of clients helping them to best adapt their business decisions to new energy sources, energy efficiency and climate change.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Based in North America you will lead the commercial Americas Solution Sales team located in and responsible for, all solutions sales in North and South America
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to stimulate company growth
  • Achieve growth by successfully managing the team through assessing strengths and weaknesses
  • Establish and grow professional relationships with key personnel in major accounts
  • Build and promote healthy, long-lasting relations with existing and new clients / partners
  • Manage client projects including training
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives and strategies to capture key demographics
  • Understand client needs and provide input to developers for product customization
  • Liaise and develop professional relationships with the other global sales leaders and participate in the sales leadership team.
  • Liaise with other StromGeo teams such as Client Services, Operations, Product Development and Marketing
  • Oversee planning for the following years business plan
  • Manage budgets and update financial records
  • Oversee financial invoicing for all departments activities within the set budget
  • To undertake other duties as requested

 Who you are:

To support our growth journey we are seeking an experienced commercial business leader capable of motivating and leading the sales team while delivering the agreed business plan set for the region as a whole. You should be comfortable working with complex solution selling processes, creating account teams with multiple subject matter experts.

As a person, you’re energized by working on operational tasks along with strategic perspectives. This also means that you’re good at prioritizing and have high integrity. You’re self-driven, pro-active and you identify with our core values passion, integrity, bravery and innovation.

What do you know?

You need to have commercial leader experience with a proven track record in either Shipping, Onshore, Offshore or the Energy Market. In addition to excellent client facing skills you are energetic and have an analytically and conceptually strong mindset. You inspire your team and have a talent in dealing with employees, colleagues and client personnel on all levels.  

A good understanding of modern IT technology. You are fluent in speaking and writing English. Good business writing in English. As an international company with global clients you also need to be willing and able to travel as required by business demands and senior management.
