Your Role as a Solution Sales Manager Shipping

As a Solution Sales Manager Shipping at StormGeo, you'll be at the forefront of driving excellence in Vessel and voyage performance solutions. In this senior role, you'll be the face of StormGeo in sales meetings with clients, delivering insights and recommendations for improvement. Your mission is to deeply understand our clients' needs and collaborate with our development teams for product customization, all while enhancing environmental awareness through meticulous data monitoring.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate closely with both the Euro North and Global sales teams
  • Cultivate and convert qualified Shipping leads to achieve sales targets
  • Champion StormGeo's shipping solutions in client meetings, covering areas such as ship technical performance, voyage optimization, emissions monitoring, and CII
  • Leverage data analysis to identify patterns and drive improvement strategies for shipping companies
  • Articulate findings and provide actionable advice through written reports and client meetings/workshops
  • Partner with other sales expert teams within StormGeo to cross-sell and upsell solutions
  • Gain a deep understanding of client needs and collaborate with developers for tailored product solutions
  • Take charge of client projects, including training new customers
  • Work closely with the Operations delivery teams for seamless project setup

Who You Are

We're on the lookout for a Solution Sales Manager who embodies the spirit of service, possesses a sharp business acumen, and is equally comfortable navigating strategic visions and hands-on support. You're energized by the blend of operational tasks and strategic thinking, and your ability to prioritize and maintain integrity sets you apart. Proactivity is your middle name, and you're self-driven to achieve success.

  • Solid sales background in the shipping industry
  • Technical proficiency in areas related to energy efficiency (Nautical, marine engineering, naval architecture, or software engineering degree or equivalent)
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
  • An enthusiastic and motivated team player
  • Inspirational, confident, and persuasive communication style
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with colleagues and clients at all levels
  • Previous experience in a shipping company's performance department is a plus
  • A good grasp of modern IT technology
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Norwegian
  • Willingness to travel for client visits and training
