Solution Sales Expert - Fleet Performance Management

As a Solution Sales Expert on Fleet Performance Management (FPM) you will manage FPM client relationships. In this senior position, you will represent the FPM business and products in sales meetings with clients and report findings and advise on improvement actions. The overall responsibility of the Solution Expert on Fleet Performance Management is to understand client needs and provide input to developers for product customization.  You will always review the monitoring processes verifying the reported data and enhancing environmental awareness.

You will:

Be part and work closely with both the Americas and Global sales team,

  • Develop qualified Fleet Performance Management leads and achieve sales targets
  • Represent StormGeo FPM related solutions and business in sales meetings with clients (in Ship technical performance, emissions monitoring, CII etc)
  • Find patterns and draw conclusions on improvement levers for shipping companies based on data analysis
  • Report findings and advise on improvement actions in written form or in direct client meetings / workshops
  • Collaborate with other sales expert teams within StormGeo to cross-sell & upsell solutions
  • Understand client needs and provide input to developers for product customization 
  • Manage client projects including training with new customers
  • Work with the Fleet Performance Management delivery teams for client project setup

Your days will include both strategic questions, supporting management teams with short and long-term organizational visions, and daily tactical issues with hands-on support to our site organization. As a person, you’re energized by working on operational tasks along with strategic perspectives. This also means that you’re good at prioritizing and have high integrity. You’re self-driven and pro-active.

What do you know?

We believe you have a sales experience in the shipping industry, a technical background working with energy efficiency (Nautical, marine engineering, naval architecture or software engineering degree or similar), and excellent skills in handling client relationships. You have a analytically and conceptually strong mindset, are energetic and motivated to work closely with sales team members. We think you are inspiring, confident, and persuasive. You have a talent in dealing with colleagues and client personnel on all levels. Experience working in the performance department of a shipping company will be considered an asset.

A good understanding of modern IT technology. You are fluent in speaking and writing English. Good business writing in English. As an international company with global clients you also need to be willing to travel for client visits or training purposes.
