About the job
As a StormGeo forecaster you will be working in an exciting, fast-paced environment providing decision support for weather sensitive operations to a wide range of industries, including offshore oil and gas, renewable energy, and shipping. You will also support the aviation and road industries, providing airport and road icing forecasts, alerts, and briefings. In addition, there are also opportunities to get involved in forecast verification, customer training, offshore deployments, and other related tasks.
You must be willing and can work on a shift rotation including nights, weekends and public holidays. You will become part of our Aberdeen based UK team of meteorologists and work closely with the global StormGeo forecast centres.
Recent experience of Marine, Renewable energy and aviation forecasting will be an advantage.

Primary work location is Aberdeen, UK with remote working an option, although all European countries where StormGeo have an office may also be possible.
