How will you contribute?

Our Weather Technician role is the first step in a career path in our broader Customer Service Team. You’ll collaborate to solve customer issues, build strong customer relationships and problem-solve technical issues to help our customers benefit from the full potential of StormGeo shipping products and services. We’ll also rely on you to use the latest forecast information to deliver high-quality weather data to support StormGeo proprietary weather data products. If this sounds like you, you could be the next Weather Technician. Specifically, you’ll contribute to the following:
• Support StormGeo operations teams in servicing our clients shipping needs
• Provide world-class customer service, troubleshooting, and technical support
• Support StormGeo weather data products by generating weather fronts, analysis of high and low-pressure areas, creating and disseminating tropical cyclone information and performing global ice analysis

What you will need?

• Minimum associate degree in science or related field, or relevant work experience
• Experience supporting customers via phone, e-mail, chat, and/or in person
• Passion for customer service and ownership of the customer experience including comprehensive issue resolution
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, with next-level attention to detail
• Flexibility to work as part of a team or independently, as needed, to meet shifting deadlines, priorities, and schedules

Work Location:

Primary work location is Aberdeen, UK with remote working an option but all European countries where StormGeo have an office may also be possible
