StormGeo Names Henrik Dahl Interim CEO

Jun 25, 2019

The Board of Directors of StormGeo has appointed current Board Member Henrik Dahl as new Interim CEO of StormGeo. Per-Olof Schroeder steps down effective immediately. The Board of Directors would like to thank Per-Olof Schroeder for his contributions as CEO and for leading the company through a period of transformational growth.

New leadership with extensive leadership and technology experience

Continuing StormGeo’s exciting journey, the Board of Directors is confident that Henrik Dahl represents a strong fit for the role as Interim CEO and will be able to continue to drive change within technology development and commercial excellence given his previous experience.

Notably, Henrik is the founder and former CEO of Eniram, a Finnish clean-tech software engineering company, which specializes in marine energy management products and services for ship-owners and operators of commercial vessels, which was acquired by Wärtsila in 2016. Henrik Dahl joined the StormGeo Board of Directors as Board Member in March 2019.

Continued focus on providing best-in-class weather-based decision support

StormGeo continues to be at the forefront of global megatrends, such as climate change, digitalisation and increasing regulations across all of its end-verticals including media, cross-industry, shipping, oil & gas and renewables. Leveraging its significantly strengthened platform, partly created through recent technology developments, partly created by the recent acquisitions of Nautisk and Climatempo, as well as the partnership with DNV GL on fleet performance, StormGeo is highly committed to continue to deliver the most innovative and best-in-class decision support solutions and services for weather-sensitive operations, in a sustainable manner.
