TB Marine Boosts Commercial and Environmental Fleet Performance with StormGeo

Founded in 2005, Hamburg-based TB Marine specializes in liquid chemical, product, and oil tanker transportation, carrying chemical products, clean petroleum products, and dirty petroleum products for oil majors and traders worldwide. With 1500 seafarers and 60 office staff members, the ship management company manages a highly sophisticated tanker fleet of almost 40 vessels – chemical tankers and product tankers – and is fully recognized in the tanker industry for fulfilling the highest management standards, including OCIMF and TMSA. Their highly sophisticated vessels serve the transport needs of all major oil companies and oil traders, and bulkers and containerships are joining the growing fleet.  

TB Marine began its partnership with StormGeo in 2017, installing StormGeo’s s-Planner for route optimization, voyage planning, and reliable weather forecasting services. In 2022, TB Marine expanded their capabilities with StormGeo’s s-Insight Technical. The tool helps TB Marine identify cost-saving opportunities that integrate voyage, hull and propeller, engine, and systems performance through customizable dashboards, analytics, and reporting.
