Chris Hebert
TropicsWatch Manager
Chris is StormGeo’s lead hurricane meteorologist and manager of the global TropicsWatch team. His duties include leading the team of hurricane experts year-round, forecasting tropical cyclones around the world. Besides covering Southern Hemisphere tropical cyclones during the winter months, Chris heads the marine fog team, producing forecasts of marine fog and port/channel closures along the Gulf Coast. In addition, Chris assists the StormWatch team in forecasting major winter storms.
Kyle Blount
Customer Success Supervisor, Sr. Route Analyst
Kyle earned his USCG 100 ton captains license and studied meteorology. Kyle has been working in ship routing since 2010, and joined StormGeo in 2014. Starting in 2018 Kyle has increasingly focused on customer satisfaction, helping to insure StormGeo’s policies and procedures are adjusted to best fit our client’s needs.
Morten Soerensen
Senior Technical CST Manager
Morten is a Danish Master Mariner and he holds a degree in Geophysics and Meteorology. He has been working in Shipping and weather industry since 1998 and he shows extensive experience and knowledge in Meteorology, Marine Weather Routing and onboard softwares.
