7th Asia Offshore Wind Day & Energy Taiwan Forum 2
Taipei, Taiwan
October 15–18, 2019
Join StormGeo’s very own Anna Hilden and Anson Jin as they participate in the 7th Asia Offshore Wind Day (15th October 2019) and the Energy Taiwan Forum (16 - 18 October 2019). Our team will be showcasing how StormGeo’s weather forecasting and typhoon warning services help offshore wind projects in Taiwan keep down project risks and costs.
As part of the Energy Taiwan Forum event, Anna Hilden Global Industry Manager Offshore Wind at StormGeo will be speaking at the International Conference on Engineering and Technical Services for Offshore Wind Farms on the 17th of October from 4:00 pm:
"Wind, waves and weather in practice determine how quickly an offshore wind farm can be built, and how efficiently it can be maintained. This is especially so in typhoon prone areas like the Taiwan strait, but also in periods and places where no tropical disturbances are active. The presentation will focus on how good weather predictions can ensure safe and timely project execution. Examples from offshore wind farms both in and outside the tropics will be given".
