StormGeo’s BonVoyage System (BVS) is one of the most commonly used optimization software in the shipping industry, installed on more than 6 000 vessels worldwide. This workshop will teach BVS users the system’s most advanced features and functions. Focusing on the various route optimization techniques, the methods we follow to calculate the optimum route, and how we can communicate with our office via the platform s-Insight, the attendees will be amazed at how this powerful program can work for them.

Dr. Nikos Mazarakis is a Professor of Marine Meteorology. He studied Physics and Meteorology at the University of Athens and Patras. He was an associated researcher at the Institute for Environmental Research and Sustainable Development of the National Observatory of Athens for more than 15 years. He also taught Marine Meteorology for more than 7 years in the School of Training Merchant Marine Officers Piraeus (KESEN).
Today, Dr. Mazarakis is the General Office Manager of the StormGeo Greece.
Katerina Drachaliva has been employed by StormGeo since January 2021 as a Client Relations and Office Manager. She holds a BSc in Physics and a MSc in Meteorology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is experienced in conducting workshops and trainings in the context of her previous professional background as a European project coordinator. She also participated and contributed to organizing various scientific conferences in the fields of meteorology and climatology.
